After another wet night we took our time packing up as we didn’t have far to travel today. Our next destination was North Haven, located on the Mid North Coast of NSW. We have travelled this way before and have loved the beautiful scenery of the coast, the rivers, lakes and waterways and the nearby Brother Mountains. We called in to Tuncurry for a walk along the breakwater and a coffee. Being a Saturday morning, there were many locals out and about enjoying the sunshine, walking, fishing and socialising. From here we drove on to our caravan park at North Haven, a stunning park with exceptional amenities and even a mini-golf course. After setting up and a quick bite for lunch, we went for a drive, checking out the beautiful adjacent waterways, breakwaters and beaches. We finished the afternoon off with a very invigorating walk in the Kattang Nature Reserve. The reserve walks took us to several stunning lookouts that offered spectacular coastal views. Along the way there were many beautiful banksias and wildflowers. We had certainly overachieved as far as our step count went today!
